Oh Writing class...

This writing class has been full of surprises. The biggest one was that I was actually able to write about topics that I enjoyed and was interested in. That rarely happens in a writing class, at least for myself. Critically looking at the media and the stories they produce was something I found interesting and almost fun to do. My biggest take away from this class would have to be the ability to recognize the different ways in which news stories change and affect the people that read them. Also to be able to see the ways in which social media/ different mediums of news affect who reads them/ how/ and why. These are skills that I will be able to take with me throughout different writing classes and my life in general. It is always important to be able know what a news article or blog is saying, where it came from, and what it will do in the future. Never forget to follow what’s going on in the world around you.
